RIP Ford Taurus X – We Hardly Knew Ye
Today the Ford Taurus X died. Ford Motor Company announced that 2009 will be the final production year for their new Taurus Wagon. The car is a rebrand of their Freestyle wagon, which came to life in 2004. The name change was used to spark interest in the fledgling crossover/wagon design. But fear not – the “X” may be gone, but luckily Ford is keeping Taurus alive and will premier their updated sedan in 2010.
The Ford Taurus X looks an lot like the Ford Freestyle. Is Taurus X a replacement- continuation of the Freestyle?
