Ford Mustang Vs Oklahoma Highway Patrol
This has to be one of the greatest highway car chase videos we have ever seen. Right up there with the guy who stole a tank in California – this Ford Mustang driver decided to take Oklahoma’s Highway patrol on the ride of a lifetime! Not once, not twice, but THREE times did this nut work his way out of a fishtail and keep this excitement going. His only fault was sliding into a stop sign, which wrapped around his axle. If he missed that, who knows how long this would have gone on?! OJ Simpson could have used him back in ‘94.
I know today it’s not politically correct, but in my youth (the 1970s) there was far less traffic than today, so high speed driving wasn’t nearly so dangerous to bystanders as now. Plus, where I lived, the police weren’t considered to be much different from the criminals. So me and friends were known to get them to chase us for fun (I lived in a wild rural town in Tennessee; the local newspaper archives will verify much of this for anyone who wants to look).

Impressive, but hardly miraculous. The guy learned how to back-slide out of a skid. Any decent roundy-rounder could have done that.
