F-250 Hits 2 Landspeed Records
This Ford F-250 Super Duty Pickup Truck has broken not one, but two land speed records in Utah at the Bonneville Salt Flats testing grounds.
Hajek Motorsports prepped the F-250 Super Duty for this record-breaking achievement by equipping it with a 6.7 liter Power Stroke V8 diesel unit. The B Production Diesel Truck reached top speeds of 171.123 mph. The truck also broke a record on B20 (that’s 20% bio diesel), hitting a top speed of 182 mph on the course.
Brent Hajek, head of Hajek Motorsports, commented: “The F-250 is an excellent truck with amazing capabilities. I’m amazed at how, with very few changes from stock, we were able to accomplish this.”
