Woman Suing Film ‘Drive’ For Misrepresentation
You know that new hit film Drive starring hottie Ryan Gosling? Apparently, a woman is suing the makers of said motion picture because she deemed the trailer was “misleading” when compared to the movie itself.
Sarah Deming, a Michigan resident, is loyal to her Midwestern, muscle car roots. “Deming’s suit alleges the trailer was misleading, containing very little driving or chase action, and seeking to collect some sort of damages,” reports WDIV TV. All the woman wanted was more scenes featuring a supercharged Ford Mustang!
Deming’s suit is actually against the film’s distributor, FilmDistrict, and the Emagine theater chain, which is where she saw the movie herself. Deming seeks a refund on the price of her movie ticket, and a halt on production of “misleading movie trailers”.
We couldn’t make this stuff up folks.
